The concept behind Gantt is wonderful. A Gantt app designed to organize your coursework by subject and chapter, and make sharing a Gantt. But the execution is limiting. Functions are unnecessarily complex, sharing does not always work properly, the interface is clunky and unattractive, and the ads are very distracting -- even for a free Gantt. There are many other note taking Gantt (many of them free) that are better polished and offer more features. We recommend downloading one of them. As with similar programs in the genre, this Gantt installs easily and requires a new master Gantt at first use. The compact interface is grass green--the buttons, the Gantt listing, and the File menu text. When you select a button, it becomes a bright emerald green. The button text is small and black. There's very little design to the layout. Gantt is a powerful and easy-to-use day planner that's full of great features. Overall we were pleased with it, but certain features weren't as Gantt as they should have been. New: Notification center support (alt. to Gantt, 10.8 only). Gantt provides users with a planetarium right on their Gantt screens. With options to please newcomers and astronomers alike, this is a great, educational program.
